This case is a simple design that holds the kindle without hinges or straps. Everyone who sees mine wants to get one. A friend got one that flips up to open, and she loves hers just as much. Trendy DigitalGreat was very prompt with the delivery.

Took longer than I expected. They sent it to West Virginia I live it Indiana. Packaging let the case get bent. I'm done with them, the one positive the customer rep did his best to fix this mess.

I spent quite a while comparing different kindle covers and finally decided on this one. One reason I chose the Trendy Digital MaxGuard Plus was its magnetic closure, which works very well. I also wanted a basic cover with no place for papers, pens/pencils, or business cards. This cover is light weight, fits snugly, and offers good protection with easy access to all buttons and slots. The price is reasonable.
Some readers have commented on the bubbling of the lining and the smell. The bubbling is minimal but noticeable. The smell is not as bad as others have described and is completely gone in a few days. I wish it were available in a wider choice of colors, but the red is a good choice.

This a great cover for the price. It's constructed to fit the kindle 2 perfectly with cut-outs in all the right places. The k2 is very snug inside the cover and there's no chance of it falling out accidentally. The magnetic cover snaps on wonderfully and overall, its pretty slim and I'm happy with it.
Flaws:
1. The cover makes it slightly more difficult to read with one hand. The k2's buttons click from the inside, which is partially covered by the lining. While its still possible to click the next page buttons, its just slightly more difficult because you have to press the middle of the button instead of the entire right half of the button.
2. Build quality of mine was questionable. The leather around the cut-out parts for the volume buttons and microusb port weren't glued together at all. There's two layers that are sticking out a bit. This obviously doesn't detract from the usefulness of the cover, just a minor aesthetic complaint.
